They like to reschedule flights there and then close TSA, so if you leave the airport when your flight was rescheduled for 5 hours later, they won't let you back in. Never anyone at the desk because they are understaffed. If they are already upstairs and you have not checked in, then you miss your flight, and they will reschedule you. Horrible airport. The only good thing about it is that it's closer than Austin and Dallas.

Easy to get to and not surrounded by busy roads and traffic. They have lots of parking for long and short term. Nice landscaping, lots of seating, well kept and clean, including the bathrooms. There are history displays all over. Upstairs, before going through security to the gates, there is a small food court and many places to sit. Large windows to see the planes take off and land. Update: They have upgraded the baggage scanners.

Currently at 40+ minute wait for luggage on a flight that was 20+ minutes late. The only plane at this airport and a small one at that. This place needs some serious intervention. Killeen, American Airlines, you need to do MUCH, MUCH better. This is unsatisfactory performance out of a regional airport. UPDATE: 58 minutes for the first luggage. TERRIBLE!!!

A great simple airport, no hustle and bustle and super simple! This is a military filled airport. Only the small planes 🛩 here. I don’t know if it is usually this secluded but the baggage claim was extremely efficient. I literally have nothing bad to say about this airport. I personally like the small town airports it gives me pure nostalgia of my childhood.

American Airlines need to be better with communication with the airlines that they are partnered with and using their flag. There's been several trips that has been made. That were cancelled, and we were told that the very last minute while we were there. I have noticed that this area has gone downhill since a lot of airlines are no longer in this airport.

Small and convenient has a little bar / restaurant before TSA check point not much other than that. Just simple.

Literally the WORST airport I have ever been to! There is never anyone at the check in desk and the TSA people are extremely rude. Security or whatever the people called that are supposed to help you weren’t even doing their jobs and on the phone. I would much rather drive two hours just to fly out of Dallas. What’s the point in running a business when it isn’t properly staffed.
